March, 2018 – Ivaylo Slavov, CEO of BULPROS, participated in the discussion panel during the PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC) annual ceremony, which was held on March 1st and gathered the business leaders in Bulgaria. The main focus of the event was on the business expectations for economic growth and the human resources needed for the achievement of the companies’ goals. Ivaylo Slavov represented the business perspective and highlighted one of the most important challenges to overcome – the educational preparation of the students and the need for a partnership between the business and the institutions.
“One of the main aspects of success is the education. The IT industry is developing at such a fast pace that in order to succeed, you need to keep learning all the time”, said Ivaylo Slavov. He pointed out that there is a strong correlation between the national economic growth and the state of the labor market. In this context the companies need to collaborate with the educational institutions in order to improve the quality of the education and to offer better opportunities for the young talents to develop their career paths in Bulgaria. “To work in Bulgaria does not mean to stay only here. You can travel and work for the world from Bulgaria”, recommended Ivaylo Slavov to the students.
As part of its strategic plan to support young talents, BULPROS takes part in the initiative of PwC “Your 25 reasons to choose Bulgaria”. During the event were announced the 25 students who will have the chance to do an internship in the biggest companies in Bulgaria as well as to benefit from a mentorship program.
