The “My Cause Society” of BULPROS, dedicated to supporting social initiatives, joins the campaign “Donate a Book – Give Knowledge” organized by the “Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria Foundation” and the Center for young talents in Burgas.
For BULPROS, supporting social causes is at the forefront of the CSR policy and the company has participated in a number of initiatives for children and young people. Special attention is also paid to activities promoting knowledge and education, like the support of young talents at the International Linguistic Olympiad 2019 for instance. For the “Donate a Book – Give Knowledge” campaign BULPROS employees from all Bulgarian offices collected books to donate. Moreover, the company partners with the foundation to bring children closer to the magical world of reading by donating to the initiative.
Literary club - reading room The Little Prince opened its doors to the children of Burgas and the region 2 years ago and quickly became a favorite place for young and old book lovers. The campaign “Donate a Book – Give Knowledge” aims to encourage reading from an early age, following the idea, that books bring knowledge and “a child who reads will become an adult who thinks." That is why the organizers invite everyone who wants to get involved to donate new or used children's books to the first free reading club "The Little Prince" in Burgas. The campaign and the collection of books will go on until the end of February.
BULPROS attended the official opening of the campaign on Saturday, 25. January, at which the first works of the participants in the pilot project for creative writing for young children from the Center for Young Talents called "My first stories" were presented.
